Worst bank ever! Phone waiting times deplorable. Fees and charges exorbitant. Do not recommend.

Worst bank experience I have gone through in my entire life. I have been with COM for 7 years and the customer service is appalling. I usually go to the Casuarina branch but was told to go to the City or Palmerston branch since they didn't have the "special printing paper" for my transaction. It was my first time to go to the City branch and the whole experience was horrible. I was there since 9:30am. I had to wait in the teller line for 20 minutes only to be told to sit down and wait another 45 minutes before I was actually attended. After HALF my transaction was completed, I was given permission from the TELLER PREVIOUSLY to jump the queue WITH THE OTHER STAFF WHO ASSISTED ME and she would serve me. Mind you this was 11am by now. I was then verbally abused by a rude customer from behind and the teller did not do much to defend me. The only consolidation I got was an apology and a that the lady who VERBALLY ABUSED ME would be pulled aside for a talk the next time she comes into the branch. There's a sign in front of the tellers talking about any type of abuse towards the staff is unacceptable but what about the customers?? I am ready to change banks!

Worst service ever, they kept me waiting more then 1and half months only to renew my card. I am still waiting !!!

Pop in to the bank, looking for some information, the new lady at entrace was very nice and friendly trying to help me, while Mr Mike standing at the back of her, was quite rude, keep cutting me off and talking with a tone that let me feel like i was saying something not true. I suggest CBA to send Mr Mike for a costumer service course, because he definitely need a refreshment!!!

Ok... so i witnessed the manager of this bank handle a situation very caringly..... this branch has to deal with a very large number of country folk from this region.... the people get very intoxicated and this bank stood and watched a young girl whom was very intoxicated and standing with a old fella (like he was standing over her to get her money out) try and sign her name they told her in a quiet like way she couldnt get her money becoz she couldnt sign it properly.... i applaud this action of the staff.....SO TO THE PEOPLE WHOM HAVE SOMETHING NEGATIVE TO SAY ABOUT THESE STAFF OF COMMONWEALTH BANK YU NEED TO SEE WHAT THE STAFF GO THRU AND SEE THEM GET ABUSED BEFORE YOU OPEN YOUR MOUTHS.....
