Westpac Branch Queen Street Mall

Have been welcomed really well to open my joint account with my partner. We didn’t wait and the service was quick and professional. I strongly recommend this branch. Jessie did a really good job!

Today my husband and I visited this branch of Westpac to do a tricky transaction with our NZ accounts. We were only visiting Brisbane for the day on a cruise ship. Shaun, at the front counter, handled our problem with the utmost courtesy, patience and professionalism rarely seen. He was brilliant and an absolute asset to Westpac and their public relations. Horrible set up, trying to get everyone over to electronic transactions even when people aren't ready. Two cashier's, queueing all the time, avoid like the plague 💩💩💩

Terrible service at this NEW branch. 26/6/19. Went into branch & took money out of ATM (non-Westpac account), then intercepted by floor staff. I said I wanted to deposit money onto my Westpac Visa. You can use the ATM for that! No, I prefer to deal with a person. It’s much easier to use the ATM! I want personal service, so people will have a job. (I then start walking towards lady at counter down back of branch). Sir, have you used an ATM before? Seriously? Are you asking me if I have ever used an ATM? I say to him. (Though he’d watched me use the ATM 2 min earlier)! I get to counter. Woman tells me “You could’ve used the ATM for this” I repeat to her; You won’t have a job if everyone uses machines. Yes I will, she says. This branch has a lot of staff! URGH. Bloody hell - CAN I JUST GET SOME SERVICE BY A HUMAN without being lambasted for it?! Appalling service, Westpac.

Absolutely easy to work with, constantly ensuring everyone is being helped out.
