Commonwealth Bank Buranda Branch

Was waiting in line with 6 other people for 20 mins and no one served or attempted to serve. Left after 30 mins and went to springwood branch much better service down there.

I applied for a new card after my debit card was damaged and they could only mail it. However, after waiting for a month, I still did not receive a new card. I tried to contact them. After a NOT TOO LONG 10-minute wait, someone finally answered my call. She told me that I had to go to the branch to provide my personal identification and re-apply to send a new card, the new crad will still send to you by mail. However, on that day night, they suddenly locked my card said due to the security reason. It was a Friday night, and they didn't even notify me before that they would do it. I didn't have much cash by my side, which meant that I had to spend two days with a limited cash, because on the Saturday and Sunday their branch was closed. Really bad bank!

Poor quality service. I was told to stand back away from an area marked with yellow tape as appropriate and dismissed when enquiring about interest rates on savings accounts. Instead of pointing out one of the many areas to have a seat and wait for assistance I was offered to book an appointment in. The store was vacant and not very busy.nI am now thinking about changing banks after 20 years with commonwealth.

I popped into the bank with zero direction andneven less know. David Watson met me at the door, he gave me one direction. The right one.nCustomer service is so important in the age of the disinterested millennial. David has set the bar and I don't even live in the area but would happily use this branch as I know they are real,genuinely nice people who know life's not all about the money. It's about listening to the person in front of you.nThanks David for educating me on your services and having a laugh.

Terrible waiting time and quality of service
