Commonwealth Bank Carindale Branch

Luke is always such a great help, is always honest and upfront!! Never have anything bad to say about the employees at the Carindale Branch, the staff are lovely and are always welcoming there assistance where required and it asked!! Couldn't recommend a better bank!!

So I went in to open an account for my daughter who has just started school. It was 3pm. There was about four people in front of me waiting to see the concierge. One by one he sent us all away stating there wasn't enough time to attend to any of our banking needs. There was still an hour left until they closed! Inside the bank there is only two counters to serve people. There used to be about six. This bank is in one of the most busiest Westfield shopping centres in Queensland, yet they have downsized their branch. Making people wait for god knows how long or just turning them away. I don't think I'll open account for my daughter with them. Like all big business, no respect for the people. They can afford to turn us away.

Good Recovery from my first visit. I was trying to open an account for my daughter and was initially told that it would take longer as it was already 3pm at that time and I have to bring my daughter in (14yo above). Disappointed since my daughter goes to school when bank is open and they are closed on weekends! Great!nnAnyways, during school break, I managed to bring my daughter but initially was told to do it online and come back. What?! I took a day off for nothing?! But the lady assisting at the door was nice enough to recover and allowed me to queue, though she said waiting time was an hour at least, what else could we do, of course we waited.nnThough it did not take that long, maybe 30min at most and that was fine. The lady who assisted us, unfortunately I forgot her name (with Indian accent?), was superb! She knew what she was doing and she did it efficiently. We were happy customer at the end. All was well. The lady at the entrance was also very courteous and flexible.nnBut it will help the bank to be able to get extra people when queue is long. Can't they work with other branches to call in help if their branch is bogged down with too many customers? I am sure something can be done to address this rather than let people wait especially that the place is tight, considering the covid-19 situation.

The change deposit hasn't worked in over six months. Disappointed is an understatement.

In and out quickly every time I have been. Polite staff and was helped by Anna who got me sorted and helped me with options to stop the problem that caused my visit. Great branch. ATMs and coin counter in foyer as well.
