I have had difficulty with the post office for years. Unfortunately, they are how my mother sends Christmas gifts to my disabled child. I started calling before 7 am, getting nothing but a busy signal. My mother emailed the post master with my phone number, because I will meet them at the street. She just received a message back from the post master blaming my dog, who has been in all day. This post office's biggest problem is they honestly don't care.
It's SO much more convenient to buy stamps and mail packages at this little US postal service unit inside the north Kenny's IGA, especially for those of us who live in the north end of town. No fighting for a parking spot in the main post office's small lot, and no standing in long lines. (Be advised that this postal service takes only cash or checks, though--no credit or debit cards accepted for some reason.)
