The New Town post office is among the worst in the country. Mail frequently was late, often misplaced, stolen, thrown away, lost packages, and placed in the wrong mail box. One postal worker stole a debit card and somehow able to empty my bank account by spending $300 at Family Dollar. On several occasions, my students brought me my water bill (I heard its about $110 minimum now), credit card statement and bank statement because it was placed in their parents mailbox. On three occasions, my electric bill was returned undeliverable or person does not live at this address. Luckily, the local coop office was next store. When the high school mailed out letters to parents over half were returned on a regular basis... in many instances as undeliverable despite having the correct address and the person still living at said address or having said PO box. For the comment about people living in city area and being a small town... There is usually much worse service in the city than in the country. In fact, I have received all of my mail and orders even though I live in the sticks.
They might make mistake now and then, but honestly I have nothing to complain about. Everyone here has been kind and helpful to me

This is absolutely the worst post office I have ever had to deal with! I have never once had any type of positive experience with this place of business, and they recently returned my pets medication back to Chewy and my dog became extremely sick. This has been a constant battle with this post office for them to deliver to my mailbox in the country, they refuse to follow the special instructions, and never deliver any of my packages. The postmaster (the evil succubus with tattoos) and workers are extremely rude and terribly difficult to deal with, they are lazy, and do not care whatsoever about your mail. This place is a NIGHTMARE!
All these bad reviews are true! Horrible horrible horrible!!!!! UPS and FedEx have no problem delivering to my address but yet USPS will send my mail back to sender. They claim they will help you, so you leave your name and number only to be ignored! This is the WORST post office EVER!
