After calling the 1800 number for USPS I waited on hold for an hour, the employee was rude, confusing, and ultimately extremely unhelpful. I called the local Hays post office and they cleared my issues within minutes. I have always had a great experience in the office or on the phone at the Hays post office.

Great, knowledgeable experts. Attitudes are inviting and helpful. The building is also very clean as well.nnI have had slightly discouraging moments with delivery drivers, yet I understand that everyone is human and things happen. There have also been more positive happenings rather than negative.nnThanks for all the good work USPS of Hays, KS!
I called the 800 # to find out about a package that never reached my daughter who is at the college. The woman who answered the phone was very rude and clearly had no idea what she was doing. She was short and condescending and ultimately gave me all the wrong information, as I later found out when I called back today to followup. People like this should be held accountable. Not okay. First my package is not delivered, then I have to wait on hold for one hour, then I get a rude/under trained employee who has not business working with the public, and ultimately was a complete waste of time. I should have gotten her name and reported her to a supervisor, but felt like she would hang up on me if I asked for that, and after sitting on hold for an hour the first time, I would not have gotten thru to anyone by calling back. Really sucked!
We enjoy our post office. They do a good job.
