Usually great service and my carrier used to be awesome! Now I moved a mile and got someone who just is checked out completely, I’ll find mail I put in the pick up on Monday still there on a Wednesday. Just need to get other carriers, perhaps expand your hiring field to employ those who are grateful for the work and are attentive!
Today I received a package delivered by the post office. The package was 10 inches longer than my mailbox. It was shoved in the mailbox with my letters and cards crumbled behind it. It was sticking out of the mail box and I had to try and wedge it out. Both the outside package and the plastic the clothes were in was torn. Lucky there was no tears in the clothes. This package should have been brought to my door. What is happening to our delivery people???
I have been experiencing 3 years of other people's mail being delivered to my mail box. Recently, i was able to contact a veteran delivery person who took the mail for other people and said he would return it back to sender for me. Today, the normal clerk who delivers the mail left 3 articles of mail on my deck, instead of my mailbox, that did not have my name on them. The lack of professionalism that our local postal office shows is truly pathetic!
The worst post office in 50 states.....!!!! The other reviews of this post office are correct. The carrier that delivers to my apartment building really does not put any effort into doing his/her job. I just moved here from out of state and have never experienced such poor service from USPS. For example, I just had a softcover book delivered with the packaging clearly stating do not fold. The jerk who delivered it folded it in half and jammed it into by mailbox, despite there being USPS package receptacles in the same mail room. The book was very badly damaged. I hope this post office gets shut down.
The two women at the front desk were very friendly, however, I was helped by and older man whose name I think I heard as david. He was incredibly rude right off the bat and became irate with me because I had a question he couldn't answer, and tried to send me to the back of the line after I'd already been waiting at least 20 minutes... luckily another person let me cut in front of them.nFor the love of God don't let people like this do anything customer service related. I don't have high standards for customer service in the first place but this was just ridiculous.
