These people do not believe in reading instructions and keep sending my mail back to the sender and stating that my apartment is vacant. Such rubbish!!
Hours of operation 9 to 4; 1:30 to 3 closed. Stopped at 1 PM and already closed. Returned at 3 PM and waited 15 minutes. No postmaster showed up!! What is the story with this office, is it open or no longer open. Hours should be changed to reflect the true times of the postmaster's working hours, if there is one.
Jerome, thank you for your excellent service!nnI want to give this USPS office 6 stars out of 5! I accidentally found this office while walking around on my lunch break and I was used to use another office on State Street for my postal needs. The customer service provided by Jerome is so good that I can't believe it is USPS office and not some fancy restaurant! Jerome learned my name at my first visit and addresses me by name all the time and that is impressive since TD Bank and Santander bank employees in the same area never called me by name even when they try to sell me something. I am also impressed that Jerome does not get overwhelmed taking on account that he is the only employee working there.
Pretty typical, no better no worse. The entire staff at the USPS needs happy lessons.
Very small office. Staff is friendly, and quiet music can be heard playing, which gives it an easy-going feel, but the hours are very limited. I think this info listed may be incorrect, and the correct hours may be about 9am–1:30pm, with a long downtime after that, then open again from only 3–4pm. I would advise not cutting those times close.
