Through out the summer of the Pandemic, they don’t even prop the door open to at least let some air in as people wait for 40 minutes or longer to do a simple transaction. Sometimes there’s only 1 person working at a time. I shouldn’t have to wait that long to get a money order. What-on-earth does the staff care, they are behind a glass that automatically protects them. So, who cares about everyone else!
This has to be the most unorganized and most unprofessional post office in Philadelphia. Every time I visit, I leave disappointed. I am used to the long wait and the poor attitude of the woman behind the counter. But my visit yesterday was over the top. I stood in line for over 20 minutes just to be told that you couldn't use cash or buy money orders. In her defense, the women points to a small sign written in pencil taped behind a crack in the partition. You wouldn't even notice it if you weren't being served at the counter. U. S. Post Office we have to do BETTER. I left and went to the location at Front and Olney. The line ALWAYS moves quickly and the person behind the counter is pleasant and courteous. I will be going to this location for now on.
Just another government-run mess. When I arrived at 1:56 pm on Wednesday there was a line in the lobby. Some of the people in line were told the staff was at lunch and would return at 2pm. After standing in the lobby, office still closed, until 3pm, an employee came out and notified us that they wouldn’t open again until 4pm. Good luck to you if you decide to go here.
This is my second time in a matter of weeks that a Cartier has misdelivered my package. I have a carrier who normally delivers but God forbid she takes a day off the replacements cannot deliver to the correct place apparently! Fuming! The first time tenet located my package and delivered it again. I had a lot of patience with them during this process but to let this happen again. I have no patience left! I tried calling and got nothing but the automated voice which only further lead to frustration. My tracking says my package was hand delivered to someone! Come on now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DO YOUR JOB BETTER!
During covid they had someone come out and ask the line if they had returns and if so they took the package and told me to have a good day. It was awesome fast and efficient that way you not standing in line just to make a return drop off.
