Carriers don’t do as they are supposed to. I had a certified letter that I went to pick up. They lost it for nearly a week and then tried to tell me they never tried to deliver it before. Had a package that was supposed to be delivered. They said there was no access. We live on a walking route with a wide open porch. They need to get it together. This is horrible service.
If they would do their jobs like they're supposed to I wouldn't be giving them a 1 star review. I had to chase multiple packages because they couldn't match last names and apartment letters (both of which are legible on the outside of everyone's mailbox). I get packages now only because there is a special note about my address since I chewed them out for losing my stuff. Mistakes happen... but if you have to chase at least 5 packages delivered to the wrong door step of your apartment complex, that is just laziness on the employee's parts.
I was home all day, carrier never came to my door to get a signature for an important certified letter, instead I wasted my valuable time running into the office to sign for it then to find out it was still with the carrier. But to make it worse I can't even call the office to issue a complaint on the phone, instead I get diverted to an automated system that put me on hold for 50 min. Screw that. And the US POST OFFICE.
Our mailperson seems to not care got a notice about my property tax not being paid went to pay it on the envelope was a yellow sticker return to sender no forward address it cost me an extra $30 certified notice came 2 days after I picked it up found out later my neighbor brought that down I coould go on and on about the problems we with but nothing will change it been happening for years
