No wonder this place has 2.6 stars. The WORST customer service I've ever dealt with! Not only was the lady with the short greyish hair rude but she also spoke over me. And her fellow co-worker (brown shoulder length hair) chimed in and said I should've had the label filled out already. Not only was that rude & uncalled for but like I told her I've never sent anything out by going up to the counter so I had no idea that I needed to have that done already. Which by the way you don't, they just prefer it being done already so they don't have to wait the 30 seconds it takes for you to write the to and from address. I usually print my shipping labels out at home or use the self service kiosk but I was out of printer ink. And they only had 1 working kiosk (the other one was broken). Now I wish I had just waited in line to use the kiosk instead because I ended up leaving with my package. Which just shows that after waiting in line for 18 min and it being Saturday at closing time, that I was willing to walk away without sending out my package just to get away from the rude employee.

The officer Milo was extremely rude. During Covid-19 pandemic, his office was not following CDC guideline rules, he was not wearing a mask, and he was not even trying to keep his distance. Further, he made fun at us for wearing masks (in front of our daughter). He made us feel very uncomfortable. Then, he threw our important documents (including originals passport to a box). When I asked if he can add an envelope to our documents, he rudely responded that he is going to wait for another six cases but to do not worry about it because he has experience. We seriously wanted to grab our documents and leave, worse service we ever had in the treasure valley area!

This post office is the largest & busiest in the area. It's also easy to bike to on the Greenbelt. I'm sure we've all had issues with USPS, but it occurred to me that I should give them a shoutout, because: I sent out over 6 packages after hours (inside drop box) on a recent Saturday, and all but one was delivered on the following Monday. Even to Texas. During the pandemic.

07/20 update. General Tips: go in person, calling is useless. As for passports, avoid going on weekends. The service is SIGNIFICANTLY bad on Saturday.nn06/20-passports. I called today via the 800 number listed (numerous prompts just to get to the “press 1 to speak to an agent). There was an hour wait time so I opted for a call back. Two hours later, my phone rang. By the time my arm extended to grab my phone and answer, the call cut. They called again two minutes later. The operator instructed me to “press 1 when ready to speak to an agent”....then it put me on hold.....”all our representatives are busy helping other customers, please hold). I gave up. That is not how calling back typically works. Typically a person calls you and you speak to them directly.nnDue to COVID, and many printing locations being closed, I just wanted to ask if I can have my completed passport application printed at my appointment (13th st location).nnThat is all I wanted to know. Please have a local number.
