The nice older gentleman who started working here has always been helpful and nice to talk with while getting stamps and mailing. Very rarely do I have any issue with my mail which is surprising considering COVID-19 and such.
My grown daughter and I were in a couple day's ago. She was ahead of me dealing with her business. The woman at the counter was VERY rude to her. And tried to be rude with me when I was up. She was one rude snotty comment away from being dealt with. People like her should not be dealing with the public.
Asked a simple question about a package being delivered tomorrow. The woman I spoke to was unnecessarily rude and unprofessional, and gave me zero help. No wonder this place is being defunded.
Called in to talk to Post Master because once again we got no mail that was scheduled for delivery. I am home and know exactly when the mail comes. And they never delivered to me or any neighbors yesterday, Friday June 27th, 2020.nI called and talked to a Shane (I think was his name) cause he mumbled! He said the post master was on vacation...that says a lot! He was SO rude and argumentative and literally hung up on me!
I shipped a package with a USPS pre-printed first class shipping label on May 30th. It was received at the Elizabethtown PA post office on June 6. They have decided to hold it hostage for an additional $8.85 charge saying it was shipped Priority. Two issues here...first, the preprinted label determines the shipping type and second, five days delivery time is NOT priority handling. I spoke to a clerk who insisted that because the box was a USPS box, that that's what determined the shipping method not the bar-coded shipping label. She is a sad representation of what is wrong with the USPS.
