I received a notification of a delivered package, but the package wasn't anywhere near our house. I called the Bellefonte post office and their staff was able to sort it out for me in minutes! Turns out our carrier accidentally delivered to the wrong house, but he returned the same day and re-delivered to us. I thought this was going to be a long drawn out issue, but one phone call on my end, and everything was fixed. I was skeptical of a good outcome based on all the bad reviews, but at least some folks who work here *are* really trying to help.
Sometimes we don't have an issue but other times we deal with our packages left outside instead of inside by our mailbox. Get multiple delivers on one day and half the items are outside and the rest are inside where they are suppose to drop off. It wouldnt upset me so much if there was a roof outside our building but there isn't and they do this on rainy days. Any other time they put the items where they belong.
Absolutely awful!!! I get other people's mail every single day. After multiple phone calls and speaking to the post master in person on several occasions and reassured it would be fixed..... Still no change. I have our names on the box. Address on the box in big bold letters. How difficult can it be? I have found our mail laying out by the road. The staff are rude and nasty and down right inconsiderate. The post master clearly has no idea how to run a business or manage their employees. I've made calls to the better business bureau. What a damn headache!
Worst service ever. Second time in two months my outgoing mail was not picked up!!! Called the office and they could care less!
