Just moved to Puyallup recently and the staff here are rather rude. Plus, about 10 times now they've delivered packages in my mailbox and just left it open. My mailbox closes and stays shut just fine, they're just not even trying to close it. Just put valuables in there and leave it open for anybody to see. Could explain why I have missing mail.
A package is supposed to be available for pickup the day after attempted delivery. There is one lady here that is the laziest person I have ever met. Unfortunately I have had the distinct displeasure to run into her a lot. She constantly complains when she is working the pickup door and takes forever to do anything. Today she told me that because there are a pile of boxes that she hasn't went through yet that it will take an hour for her to find my package even though it is sitting on a cart right next to her. Unbelievable.
This site has two self-serve kiosks. I was able to scan both of my prepaid packages put them in the bin and avoid the line of 12 people in front of me. I walked in scan my packages dropped them in bin got a receipt and went home.
Only bad experiences here. My “favorite,” one of many:nThe day I went to the post office, I received a message that my medications should be delivered that day. After not receiving them, and not being able to reach somebody at this location over the phone, I went in to talk with somebody in person. I was polite and explained the situation, and expressed that I was concerned because I can become very sick without them. If you’ve read the other reviews, then this shouldn’t be a surprise, but the lady behind the counter looked at me and laughed at me. This was in front of several people, of which all turned and looked at us; I was extremely embarrassed. She said that she would look for the package, but instead barely turned the corner and spoke loudly with another employee, summed up as them speaking about how people like me are a nuisance. Again, very embarrassing. She then returned after a minute with a very smug smile, telling me that she couldn’t find the package and that I’ll have to leave and wait until they arrive. I try to be polite as I can when having to come to this location, and I don’t understand why the staff treat people this way.
I was upset at first because a live shipment (jumping spider) wasn't delivered because no one answered the door, but the gentleman on the phone was very understanding and was able to get it delivered the same day because thankfully the truck was still out delivering. Very happy
