I've been shipping out items through Mercari and this is the post office I always go to. Customer service hasn't been bad for me. (its always the same guy there). I go with my items boxed and labels printed so the transactions are always smooth. I haven't had a parcel declined either so my experience over the past few years has been just fine.nOnly complaint is that the lunch hours aren't posted online and I don't visit often enough to have them memorized so that kind of sucks.
This post office is only staffed with one clerk at a time. Any other post office of this size you might expect to find anywhere from two to five postal employees working; however the gentleman who works at the hilltop post office is rude and incompetent enough for ten employees. If you arrive during the posted business hours, be prepared to wait up to an hour for the solitary staff member to unlock the door for you to come in and have him make up a reason as to why your package or letter simply cannot be mailed. At least five times this guy has rejected my packages, making it necessary for me to drive out to any of the many other fine post offices in Tacoma, who always accept his rejected packages with no problems.
Closed for lunch from 1-2. Wish that that been written somewhere... anywhere... before I wasted my time coming here.
