Spelven is the kindest employee and person, I have ever met! My package was lost during the holidays and he worked for a couple of days, staying in touch and giving updates along the way, making sure the package was located and was personally dropped off at my home. So incredibly sweet and understanding... need more people like this at the post office. , never seen an employee who goes above and beyond and understands customer needs, absolutely grateful for such great service and kindness. I waited in the long line for the longest , when I got there , they told me that I’m waiting in the wrong line, no customer service to tell you where to stand along with no signage to get a duplicate key, then manager(Rudy) told me life is not fair and I waited in the wrong line .they need better signage and to be more efficient and a positive attitude supervisor.
Regularly loses my mail. I was fined by Fresno county for delinquent supplemental property taxes I didn’t know I owed because the tax bill never arrived: multiple checks have been lost had to be cancelled or reissued. Station manager even admitted they threw some of my mail away because they knew the house was vacant for a few months. I wish I knew how to sue a post office. Neighbors often receive my mail and vice versa. Hands down the worst post office I’ve ever dealt with. I’m considering setting up a separate PO Box just so I can finally start getting all my mail. I have filed complaints with inspector general but they go nowhere. Government has sovereign immunity from being competent.
My mail gets delivered from this post office and I've had several packages go missing and get misdelivered. I've contacted customer service, started claims, and while I'll get a generic email from someone at this particular post office, my issue NEVER gets resolved. If I email back, I don't hear back, and calling this post office is also a waste of time since I never get a hold of anyone. Absolutely terrible customer service!
I’ve lived in this area most of my life and even being in NW Fresno, this is still our main post office location. There needs to be more locations in Fresno for newly developed communities near Central Unified, as well as staffing more people since this place seems to have an issue with being understaffed and having very little customer service. You can never get ahold of them via telephone and this can be bothersome to those with disabilities or can’t always make appointments to the post office. Sending mail is easy and the people up front and very kind and polite, but getting mail here specifically is a hassle and expect waiting at least over an hour in line.
