This post office location should be rated much higher. I went there a week ago and everyone there was nice. John was very helpful when I asked him questions while I was standing in line. The guy was moving around helping customers. Also, , a Korean lady who helped me to ship a small package to El Salvador was very nice as well. She went over all of the available options with me and was very patient. Their customer service is great! Thank you!
A typical example of the down fall of USPS. Came in with a bubble envelope for first class mail weights for sure less than 10oz. The clerk refused to weight it not to mention printing the shipping label. Sometimes, vendor can make up quality with good service. For USPS, it has neither. It won't be surprising the entity will go down soon with the employees, their attitude and pension.
I always try and get here right when they open or around 11 am so I get the before lunch / finally slowed down for a second crowd. Its normally super busy here, all the time and I'm not too sure why. Also someone ran into the post office months ago with their vehicle and it still hasn't been fixed, I'm quite surprised about that also because this is quite a nice area...nnAnyway staff is always friendly and there's tons of parking !
There are only 2 windows to serve customers, sometimes 3. This post office isn't that bad. Better than the one on Broadway for sure. There is ample parking and they have the 24 hour automated postal machine.
Good clean post office unlike I have seen in Houston TX. This location is a bit under staffed and one of their employees is completely clueless. I do ship a few packages selling and buying online stores so tracking, signature confirmation are sometimes required. I asked this clerk if the package can be tracked as I don't see any tracking number, she said yes and the number on another receipt and I doubtfully came out and went back again to confirm same answer. Then I tried to check the status of the package and there's no records found, it is not a valid number. I've seen a tracking number before (many times) but I asked her twice just to check and I still got a wrong answer.nShe can barely speak legibly and I don't understand how can you not know basic things working at the counter. I took an insurance on the item but it's not an option I would like to exercise I would rather have my stuff delivered. Now I have to wait to hear from my customer if the package went there safely. This employee needs a lot of training or a new job to say the least. I'm not bitter but I'm super pissed.
