Placed a mail hold and never delivered as scheduled - this happened more often than not over the years.nnStaff at the location are unfriendly and talk down to people. Don't look forward to having to go there. Staff in the Merrifield location are much more friendly.
This place is a bad joke, If you have delivery issues, which you will, just hope that you if you are able get through to their office {Very difficult} you are lucky enough to get Matt on the phone. He seems to be the only person who actually resolves issues,
Placed a mail hold and none of my mail or packages were delivered. You cannot get a person on the phone by calling the number listed. If I want to find out where my mail is, I'm going to have to take time off work to go down there and ask someone during Covid and risk exposing myself to the virus. I don't hold out much hope for that working as I have gone there before to get help and was basically told they didn't know anything and weren't responsible (this was pre-Covid and not a holiday season).nnMy regular mail carrier is generally very good, but when someone fills in I've had my mail thrown on my doormat or left on the floor at the entrance to my apartment building instead of in my locked mailbox. With identity theft increasing, it is unacceptable for mail with personal information (or a new credit card in my case) to be left out in the open.
Staff did not kick people out for not wearing masks despite signs on the doors saying you will not be allowed in without a mask. (3 or 4 people came through the doors without a mask during the hour I waited for help.) Staff did not enforce social distancing. Staff did not always wear masks correctly. . . Or at all.nnNot only is their service a nightmare, but I doubt anything that comes through this Post Office is handled with any sort of care for the guidelines. Wash your hands after handling your mail if these guys are the ones in charge of delivering to you!
