I had the most friendly and uplifting visit to any federal government building this morning. I was greeted by a genuinely kind postal employee on the front walk with a smile as big as the sky. His coworker opened the window exactly on time. A young man behind me in line needed help with sending something and the bright funny banter was heart warming. The young man asked quite a few questions and with a big smile the employee working the retail area laughed don't worry I am here to help.nnWhy can't all of us know this kind of happiness in our lives
The lady in charge of the passport service is very nice and friendly. She patiently answered all my questions, even though she is extremely busy and short-handed. It is nice to get the passport here.
They lost my package.. IN THE POST OFFICE BUILDING... not sure how that happens.. I support the USPS but things need to get better
Sub par performance by the staff. I have yet to see a smile on their face, it’s their job and they need to respect working for the government facility.
Miserable experience. No fault of the nice employee working the lobby. The only option for holiday stamps was apparently the self service kiosk. Waited in a long line. When printing stamp sheets, the machine ran out and started printing individual fold over stamps... 70 of them! This made the wait for everyone even longer. The manager said there was nothing they could do and they couldn't exchange or refund me anything. Will definitely think twice about using the USPS self service kiosk again.
