Package wasn’t able to be delivered because the driveway and or front door was not accessible? This is day two of the same message. I have them on camera...delivering a different package to my front door...the same day I got that message?

They return letters with proper postage. Sent two under 1oz letters and got one but saying I needed $.15 more and a second say 3.25 more.nnYet neither should have required any additional payment as they were under 1oz.nnWhat a mess this caused for me.nnUpdate: this location does not have a drop box. Forcing people to stand in line for no reason for sometimes over 30 minutes. Several people rage put them on counter and leave — but when you ask them if that’s permitted they imply you need to get their attention. They are making people stand in line for no reason with covid currently a concern. Lines of 20 people— while 3/4s of them are just dropping off. For online sellers this makes the post office much less valuable. To the postmaster of this branch — add a drop box for packages.

My package wasn’t delivered because the mail carrier didn’t want to carry it up the stairs. The next day I checked online to confirm it was at the PO. I went there to pick it up and after waiting in line for 15 minutes the clerk simply told me it wasn’t there. She wouldn’t even check to confirm it wasn’t there, wouldn’t even look the tracking number up in the computer system, she just told me it would be delivered, for sure, by the end of the day. The package wasn’t delivered, so I called the supervisor and she told me it had been there all along, and suggested I do a redelivery request online. I did the redelivery request and they STILL didn’t deliver the package, just put a note on my door saying they wouldn’t deliver it because they didn’t want to carry it up the stairs. I called the supervisor again and she told me they won’t deliver it and I have to pick it up at the PO, like I had tried to do before. The package is a stroller, not a cast-iron bathtub. It shouldn’t be that hard to deliver. UPS had no problems delivering a similar sized/weight item, nor did the company that delivered my kitchen appliances, which are obviously much larger and heavier.

Every time I've been in there, I've never had a problem. I have a PO box there as well with no issues. There is a new woman there who is pretty gruff but as long as I go in there with a good attitude.......nnIt's a fairly small Post Office and this town is expanding rapidly and there are a lot of rural areas and new builds all at the same time. There's going to be some growing pains.

This has been my post office for five years. They have always been exceptionally courteous and I have had no issues. Until today. I had a USPS package with tracking that said it had been delivered, but it hadn’t. I went in to the post office to ask and was passed to a supervisor. She made no excuses or claims, said that they would all look, and told me to follow up with her if I didn’t have the package the following day. About 2 hours after I got home, a postal truck arrived with my package. I believe it was sent just to deliver this package since another truck came later in the day to deliver the street’s mail. Great service!
