Quick, friendly customer service. I appreciate the Asian woman that helped me today. She was prompt in providing solutions and just really knew her stuff.
I had a few great experiences at this location, but this afternoon I had both the most baffling and upsetting experience. I had priority mail and the cashier split the charge up ($10 for affixed postage and $11 for 20 stamps), which is very inefficient. She had to put every stamp on the box. I should have hovered. When I asked her about it, she had nothing to say. I didn’t authorize her to buy stamps on my dime. Seriously USPS get your stuff together or we customers will utilize other options. Customers aren’t going to put up with this.nnAlso she was open, yet I had to wait on her to finish sorting the mail, which typically is done during downtime, when customers aren’t in line. I don’t mind waiting, but when you start doing backwards stuff, like adding stamps to someone’s charges, I am not the one. You better believe I’ve already submitted the survey.nnWas she trying to fill a quota for customers buying stamps? They need to ask and not just assume. Now I will have stamps from Maine associated with this transaction. Seriously, what the ???? Quit playing USPS.
I am a long time Capitol Hill resident and have used this branch for decades when it was at different locations on Broadway. Generally the customer service is really good and they are very efficient, I have never had any problems. I get informed delivery via email and about 3 weeks ago I just stopped getting my mail. Created a case # online, they followed up quickly and the issue was resolved.
Whomever Paul is working for USPS with recovering packages deserves a freaking medal and a statue and a holiday. I had a very rough time trying to find my package and got almost no help, up to and including sitting on hold for over an hour with a number provided to me by a branch employee and still getting no response or even just someone to say they would check into my lost item, which was marked as delivered but was not delivered to my door.nnI was finally contacted today after filing my second claim, within hours of filing it. Paul was genuine, kind and very through about the entire case. He found and was working on my package but really all I wanted was to speak to a person when this all started. I am so glad they found my package but even more relieved to be treated like a person, by a person. Star rating goes out to Paul and his wonderful attitude and compassionate care.
Stupid office ever!!! Bad custumer service! And Dont’ have the printer!!!!
