I’m super glad that the post office can deliver advertisements and not packages. Seriously, avoid using them. All the time. Not just in the holiday season.
I finally was able to get through and received a+ service. My faith in Waynesboro is not lost after all
Bad customer service! My fiancé went in this afternoon (04/24)and had no help, what-so-ever, from the lady who was at the desk, who then turned and walked away from him without offering any assistance. He is not familiar with shipping anything from the post office and was treated like he was stupid. When you work in customer service, you can’t just assume everyone knows everything about YOUR job. It is always helpful to smile and be courteous these days. You never know what someone might be going through.
Our local US Post Office staffed by lovely folk eager to help with any of your mailing needs. Open Monday Friday 8- 5. They rent post office boxes and offer machines to purchase stamps during off hours.
I have never received such helpful customer service from another post office. I called at 4:30pm so almost closing time, and yet the guy who I spoke with, Mike I think, looked into my issue, called the mail carrier, and when he couldn't reach the carrier he took my name and number and said he would call me back when the carrier got back in and he actually did! About 10 minutes later on got a call from him to verify my last name because it turned out there was another person with my last name down the street I had just moved onto and my package had been delivered there. The mail carrier, at the end of his shift, went back out to retrieve my package and deliver to the correct address. I may never leave Waynesboro just so I can have the post office handling my mail. Thanks for the outstanding service!
