Old woman behind the counter was rude and condescending. Mailman is a joke as well. We constantly get mail for other houses in our neighborhood. Unhappy and lazy government employees.nnEdit: Mailman more recently decided the best place for my box that would easily fit in the mailbox would be in the drainage ditch next to the road. Will not be getting anything else delivered to my home.
Slowest service ive ever seen. I have lost few packages and wait time is crazy. It takes 3 weeks for package from IL to Roanoke to arrive then postman takes there sweet time getting it to your house. Pandemic or not they are slow. If you cant keep up just close down already and let another company and people take your places
Glad and sad to see we aren’t the only ones they refuse to deliver packages to!! Was told they can’t turn around in my driveway and that it’s illegal for them to go in reverse so I’ll just have to pick my packages up from the post office. I said umm UPS and fedex walk them to my door if they aren’t able to drive up and I was told they don’t do that.
That was some IMPRESSIVELY rude service. I'm completely serious I'd drive to Lynchburg to avoid this Post Office if that was the next closest one. I won't go on a rant like most people, I'd just like to make my contribution to this establishment's already dismal overall rating, and hopefully save someone the disrespect. The worst attitude and service I've received from any commercial business in my life by a landslide.
Refuses to deliver my packages to me. We live in a suburban area, yet, I am forced to go the post office to pick up every single package (yes, even in the middle of a pandemic). Once or twice, no big deal, but this is a weekly occurrence. Manager was no help when I complained. We were told we can only get mail when no one is parked in our driveway, even though that is literally what driveways are for. (Men in giant UPS trucks can handle it, so can our niece who just got her license, not sure why a tiny post office cart can’t.) Horrible customer service and incredibly inconsiderate. I HATE that Amazon doesn’t allow me to chose alternative shipping options.nnBoo.
