With the lack of staff these workers do an amazing job. Every person who works at the counter is doing their absolute best to get people taken care of in a timely fashion, all while making you feel like you're special and you matter. (Yes, taking the time to ask how you are doing might make the person behind you wait a moment longer than anticipated, BUT that's what customer service is all about!!!) Serving the customer that they have in front of them and making sure their needs are met before moving on to the next customer is what they are taught to do and they do their job extremely well. People need to stop being so selfish and think about others before going into a low-staff environment and expect to get out quickly (especially during lunch....DUH!!) Kudos to the Princess Ann Street Post Office for a phenomenal job.
See a lot of negative reviews - hadn’t had to ship a package yet but just had to go pickup my mailbox keys. Was waiting in line for a hot second when I believe the post master/a very helpful employee started going up and down the line helping out others that were waiting or directing people to other services (e.x the automated system). She got my keys for me pretty quickly and was overall friendly in her demeanor. 10/10 will use them again.
Postal worker lazy. I constantly have items lost or late. I was expecting a package that requires signature. I waited, all of a sudden the mail truck zips by my house. I track her down , she claims she rang my bell. REALLY!!!nI live in Fredericksburg. God get it together. They blame the virus, but it's always been bad service. But now they have an excuse
They take their sweet time serving people who are trying to get in and out of the post office. There is always a line of 30+ people waiting to get their packages sent out. Id rather drive all the way up to 17 just to get quick service.
The phone is always “busy” when I call.nI recently received a tracking update that a package was being held for pickup. USPS sent message to deliver the package by end of that day or next day.nNO mail...nor package has arrived!nI understand we’ve had bad weather. But the roads and sidewalks were clear when I went to pick up my package. Upon arrival at the post office, I was told the package was out with the mail carrier for delivery. Really????nIt’s been 3 days and NO package NOR mail!nThis post office is understaffed and under qualified. I hate it.
