Customers of this PO are rude and impatient. The PO provides for recycling and the customers just fill the trash cans. The staff does the best they can, with what they have to deal with, cranky old people.
I placed approximately 45 cards for friends and family in the outgoing mail slot (the big blue one outside that you can drive up to). This was two weeks ago and no one has received anything. I just want to know when the collection times are and surely over two weeks is enough time to get some cards mailed?!?!
Here is a Description of the Dripping Springs Post Office customer service. As I walked into the lobby there was no one at the front desk. There was a sign that said ring the bell. After I rang the bell, immediately a lady walks out and stares at me. She doesn’t say a word. I say “ good morning”....stil a blank stare from the female postal employee.nnI think in Dripping Springs they were having a “staring competition” and did not tell anyone.nnMaybe the reason that the US Postal Service is “in the red” is because they do not know how to simply greet or acknowledge a a customer when entering their facility. Obviously, the culture at the US Posts Srevice needs change. Hint, they may want to start with the basics.nnIf interested :nnUS Postal Service employee: “ good morning, how may I help you?”nnCustomer: “ good morning, I’d Like to buy a book of stamps.”nnUS Postal Service employee: “Certainly.”nnCustomer: “thank you.”
Lived in the area for over 10 years and use this post office regularly. The staff is always nice and helpful.
Friendly, competent, courteous staff. Better delivery times than the for-profit competitors.
