I had a package, it was my birthday, I was super excited waiting for it on the porch. It was a big package so I know it wouldn’t be in the mailbox. The mailman didn’t even attempt to bring it to me, he just marked them undeliverable. I went to the post office today, they told me nothing and the lady was SO RUDE! I’ve never had a good experience with any Norfolk post office. I wish I could give this 0 stars
Waited all day for a package. Looked out of the window constantly and even took a seat near a window to be sure I did not miss the carrier. All day long tracking indicated my package would be delivered by 7PM , then I get a text saying a delivery was attempted. This is a blatant lie! I was home all day and waiting. No attempt to deliver slip was left either. I understand they are busy but don't lie to me. Just say we ran out of time or whatever. Don't make it appear that you attempted a delivery when none was made. Walmart delivered my grocery so I know my bell works. Very disappointed!
The page said they were open, and we tried to place our mail but the employees had it closed, we really didn't know for sure if they were open or not, and a gentleman was trying to pick up a package and he had been there for ar least 35 minutes ringing a bell for assistance and no one was answering, at the end a lady rudely answer saying if she could help him. After ignoring him for so long.nThis is a public service, and if they don't genuinely care for customers, they definitely need to find a new job.
Some days mail be delieverd so late if at all. Keep getting other people mail, just terrible.
I've lived in norview area for well over 35 years and the Green Street Post office is by far the worst in Hampton roads. It should be shut down and they need to open another one because people depend on US postal services. The workers inside are not accountable for anything and the supervisors are the blame. Just go to the East Little Creek road post office you'll be much happier.
