We just moved to Hitchcock and this post office makes me sad and is extremely unprofessional. I had a package that was delivered here because I wasn’t home to get it, and they told me they will deliver it tomorrow. Why couldn’t they just hand me it? They are lazy and do not want to do their jobs. So sad.
I needed to deliver an awkward package when I was here last and the guy at the counter was very helpful.
the guy with pony tail has delivered my mail for years in his jeep. hes great! always get good service when i go inside also.
I dont know what's going on at this post office but there have been too many times to count that mail has Not been delivered to my residence. I have gone days without a scrap of mail and have had utility and other bills show up AFTER their due dates or Not at all. This is getting out of hand.
My experiences here have mostly been good. If you get a lot of packages delivered I would choose another office though. They are only open when I'm at work. It says they are open until 4:30. A man just came out and told a lady they now close at 4:15 and didnt help her. I can see why the postal service is having trouble competing with the other large shipping companies. The customer service and usefulness is very lacking.... Unless you take into consideration the stacks upon stacks of wasted paper I get to have stuffed into my box every week.
