I’ve certainly experienced a few misfires where my mail was sent elsewhere. However, any time that has happened in Portales, the post office was helpful and worked with me. Most recently, Emma at the office went ABOVE and beyond to help me out with a couple of packages. Thank you so much Emma!

Constantly losing packages of mind or delivering neighbors packages to my house. I'm an honest individual and take packages to the correct addresses. However, not everyone in the neighborhood is honest, so a lot of my packages get lost never to be found again. I can't tell you how many times that Amazon has had to resend a new package and make good on the local post office's incompetence. Very frustrating! I've spoke to the Post Carriers, gone to the the local Post office and complained, always customer friendly, but the problem still exist.

Melissa, who has been our mail lady for years, is absolutely amazing. I know that the Post Office itself has its fair share of issues, but this woman in particular genuinely cares about her job and her responsibilities and will go above and beyond for the people she delivers to. She definitely deserves recognition for the amazing job she does! I moved very recently and was honestly quite upset to learn that we are not going to be on her route anymore. However, she is still taking care of us and making sure that all of our mail goes to our new house while we make this transition, even if it's addressed to the old house. The fact that she has taken the time to make sure we are still receiving our mail, no matter what, just blows me away! Our community is very lucky to have Melissa, and I am extremely grateful for her. Thank you!

Every year I send 3 boxes of Christmas cookies to my kids via priority mail flat rate- in 2020, one box was delivered ONE WEEK AFTER THE DUE DATE while another was delivered TWO WEEKS AFTER THE DUE DATE. The cookies were stale and all of our Christmases were ruined. USPS wouldn't even reimburse me for the two extremely late delivered packages. I had to wait for the woman in the back who was rude and repeated herself as she apparently had no good communication skills. She said the postmaster would call me. She lied. I will never send cookies through USPS EVER AGAIN.

5 trips to this location and my problem still isn’t rectified. An address change to a campus PO Box address in town shouldn’t be that difficult as I can only assume I’m not the first, and everyone here knows where the ENMU post office is. Have talked to a few people who have been nice, but haven’t called or notified me to let me know the status. I’m not receiving mail at the old address or the new one. As a result of me moving, I have security deposits coming back to me. I have no idea where they are.
