I’ve never had a problem with my delivery driver or their service but I needed to ask a quick question about some thing that wasn’t delivered when it said that it was online. I called the post office several times and could not get a hold of anybody, so I drove to the post office about 10 minutes before they closed. I know I was cutting it close on time but my question was pretty simple. I got to the door about five minutes before they were closed, and came up to one of the employees barring the door. I walked up closer to the door, waving my hand through the glass to signal that I needed them for something and they looked right at me, finished barring the door, turned around and started walking away. I stopped for a second in disbelief, walked right up to the door started waving both of my hands and the employee turned back around to look at me for a second before turning back around and continuing to walk away.... I work in customer service and know how sometimes at the end of the day you just wanna lock up and go home, and I know that I was cutting it close on time, but they were still open and my question was small. That was uncalled for and most of all very unprofessional. Usually this post office has been very helpful and very nice to me but my experience with this one employee was the exact opposite.

Friendly staff, but I’m not 100% sure they know what they’re doing at this post office. I’ve mailed at least fifty packages through this post office in the last year or so, and a good half of them had very strange mailing issues that I have never encountered at any other post office I’ve used before. A lot of them end up sitting there, marked to go out for 3-5 days after I’ve shipped them only to slowly make their way to the sorting facility in southern Maine. This was on shipments that are supposed to only take 2-3 days to arrive. Some packages randomly arrive much faster than expected, which is definitely something I wouldn’t complain about... except that sometimes it’s an issue of what day the person will be home or not and the intended time of arrival depends on that. I’ve even had a shipment go to NEW ZEALAND instead of Germany, for some unexplained reason. (I even called the tracking service number and they said it was marked to go to Germany so there’s no reason it should have been there.) I honestly don’t claim to understand how any post office works, and I know things can happen to anyone. But they sure seem to happen... a lot at this post office.

They never leave a card for pkgs that don't fit in my mailbox and they leave the pkg where anyone can take it and that's exactly what has happened and then they say they will look into it and call you and they never do..I shouldn't have to have my mail go somewhere else just to ensure that I will receive it!!

They have poor customer service. Last year they never had a problem coming down my driveway to deliver packages or things I had to sign for. This year they refuse to drive down my driveway making excuses. I'm disabled. Not allowed to drive. They expect me to go to them to get my mail. The mailman never even attempted to go down my driveway. I called to complain. I am homebound so I was home. There was no excuse except they didn't want to. Their excuse.. It was a snowy day. Driveway was still fine to drive down. So I called back.. She stated I need to find a friend then to get my letter and I'm to call back to let them know if my friends was willing to pick up a registered letter for me.. I called 8 times.. Literally ringing until it went to busy signal. They refuse to answer. So I also have another package coming today.. They gonna make me find Someone else to go get my mail because their excuse is there is snow in the driveway? Of course there is snow in the driveway.. We live in Maine. But the driveway is shoveled. And what snow that is on the ground in the driveway is let on purpose because of the sheet of ice. If cars can come down our driveway and turn around easily then their mail trucks can also. They had no problem last year so why now? (Ps.. I'd post a pic with this that I took proving what I was saying but there is no way to post the pic also).

The carriers dont do ther job right i just watched one drive by my house and not even pick up my mail the flag was up and they just drove by whats the point of haven a mailbox if they dont even get touched i have had this issue for 6 months now
