Employees consistently not wearing masks or have them below their nose or mouth. Always unmasked customers in the building. Prefer to make an extra trip to Champaign to mail a package than to go here despite it being much closer.
Customer service is good, friendly each time I've been there.
When I applied for a PO Box and requested a copy of all the paperwork I signed I was told there wasn’t a reason for me to have them. The polite postal woman incorrectly stated they are for post office records only. When I asked for the box number and street address, they wrote it on a sticky note. A sticky note... They (there were two present at this point) were surprised that I didn’t know the street address and box number of my PO box i just opened. If I had the copies of the applications I signed, I wouldn’t have to ask this question... yes, I said this.nnI just moved to the city and state of Mahomet, Illinois, and am shocked that this post office does not behave as a federal government institution. It doesn’t open until 9 am.
Lived in the same place for THREE YEARS with a jacked up mail box. Now all of the sudden they can't leave my mail until maintenance messes with the box. And they won't continue to hold my mail because the box has needed service for 30 days. Okay. What changed over night? How come the other mail carriers NEVER said anything, now I can't get my mail. So glad to be moving away from here because these mail carriers are a joke. Consistently is key, and this location clearly doesn't have it. Good luck.
In one year they have forwarded my mail to someone else and sent back numerous packages. Maybe instead of the good old boy system where you hire incompetent workers then promote them to incompetent post masters, you hire someone who knows what they are doing. It also doesnt matter how often you complain.
