US Post Office

I typically like to give the benefit of doubt to those who strive to multi-task many functions while on the job. While I have visited this said location many times over the last few months due to mail hold and locating another place to live, the gentleman that I mainly see there is often times sorting mail and attentive to finalizing the most and sometimes has a tendency of placing customers second over sorting... This I'm sure has it's own system in place and could very well be he is finishing one address or last name as to not skip or lose his place with having many distractions around.nJust yesterday while visiting to ensure nothing more was returned from my old address, I rang the bell twice as I heard shuffling in the back somewhere and the guy was on the phone answering questions. Understandable. Until, he dials another phone number and proceeds to discuss their needs when it was 3ish in the afternoon with 2.5 more hours to return calls etc. And without regard for turning around to check the lobby area as this was full to CDC guidelines that I left being as first in waiting but did not feel comfortable leaving an elder outdoors while the waiting period persisted... :/nLike I mentioned however, he is always busy anytime I have came in and whomever his helper is could help spot the front or oversee a portion of communicating the apologetic wait time will be just a moment longer while he finishes a call.. Hence, maybe he didn't realize the line was piling up but noise was echoing as we all carried on small talk and patiently waited for some sort of reassurance that we were all noticed. I feel lime this may be lack of conversing amongst the workers for the role they will play or duties they are obliged to. Customers should always receive a simple one moment or acknowledgement of some sort rather than a cold ignored approach to services required for all.nI truly do admire his knowledge as he knows what he's talking about and has never steered me wrong with any answer he has provided me or directed me towards to complete. So thank you sir for your patients and more than likely longevity there at the post office. You to are appreciated and adored for the amount of critical work you complete for all of us in the community.

Since I cannot select 0 stars, I will give this post office 1 star. Our mail has consistently been lost and we have been given every excuse in the book as to why we did not receive our mail. Perhaps the best excuse was that they told me we had moved. Turns out the mail carrier made that up on her own. Conveniently, our tax refund has yet to arrive since it was mailed in early March. I believe the carrier pigeon would be a more effective option for mail delivery compared to this particular branch of the post office.

My package had arrived at the sioux falls regional facility on July 27th. They were to be delivered by 8pm July 28th. Some how they managed to deliver my package thats addressed to a building in sioux falls all the way out to Massachusetts by 6am july 29th. Do your employees not know how to read? How does something like this even happen? 0/10 on customer service, this isn't even the first time something like this has happened to me through usps. They suck at their jobs and I cannot wait to exclusively use other services for mail as they can actually get my packages from their regional facility to my mail box.

We contacted Debbie at the Technopolis branch multiple times to assist with temporary address changes and mail forwarding. She was very knowledgeable and went above and beyond to answer questions and help us.

Moved into our house 2 weeks ago, have not received a single piece of mail, waited out in the rain today for the postman. There was a little bit of snow on the perimeter of my mailbox, did they leave a note to tell me why they were not delivering? Nope- he told me he placed a hold notice on my mail until we cleared it. Again, without any notification to us. My husband had been going out each storm to clear our mailbox, no way was he unable to drop off our mail.
