Faye at this location is possibly the nicest post office worker I have encountered. Multiple times she has gone out of her way to help me without even knowing me. Really a nice experience here.
The employees working behind the counter work pretty fast for how small the place is and they're usually very nice. There was only one person working the counter the few times I brought my mail, but the line isn't too bad for post office standard wait times.
I want everyone who a bad experience with USPS in Honolulu to try this location and meet Faye! She is so kind and always give you the best advice, if you are looking for the cheapest way to ship something internationally. She doesn't make you feel dumb at the counter -- if anything, she'd only make your day better.nThe service can be slow because this location is run by Faye and few others? I've seen other staff only a few times. Hours are also a bit inconvenient if you want to get your chores done in the morning, but Kahala's USPS is not too far from here if this location is closed.nI can only imagine that tasks at a post office can be thankless and tedious, so I really appreciate Faye's genuine aloha spirit and her excellent customer service!
Very quiet at 2:30pm on Wednesdays. Efficient service, street parking available.
Ample parking; reasonable time waiting in line; well stocked mailing supplies; courteous workers. What more can you ask for?
