I had a recent issue with packages I was expecting not arriving, and the staff at the Salisbury Mills post office went above and beyond to help me figure out what had happened. In particular, the postmaster was incredibly kind and helpful in dealing with the issue. The problem arose from 2 incorrect shipping labels that had my address wrong, and I’m not sure if that was due to my own error or if it was an issue with my PayPal account auto filling in my address wrong, but in any event, the issue wasn’t the fault of the post office and I truly appreciate all of their help in finding out what had happened. I’ve lived here my whole life and I’ve liked and respected all of the employees over the years, and the current staff is no exception. Thank you again, I truly appreciate it!

This post office is consistently disorganized. I submit a request online to have my mail held to be picked up by me at the office, and when I arrive the person behind the counter was rude and questioning every step I took was wrong. The fact that I was holding both a confirmation and e-mail from USPS telling me that my mail was being held for pick up is more than enough evidence that I did the steps correctly.nnI have had 2 packages this week not get delivered properly, neither of them leaving the peach colored slip in the envelope or at the front door with information as to why the package did not get delivered. After a useless attempt to pick up my mail at the office, I go home to find one of the 2 packages was magically able to be delivered. When I reviewed my order, it showed that BOTH packages were delivered to my front porch, which is not true.nnFirst of all, the package wasn't left on my porch because the first day there needed to be someone home to receive it (there was someone home the second attempt) so why would you be able to leave it there the second time? Secondly, THERE IS ONLY ONE PACKAGE. How do you scan my package and say it's delivered when it very clearly is nowhere to be found.nnThe man in the office treated me like i'm stupid for asking where my mail is, acted like it was so unheard of to have gotten confirmation via telephone that my mail was available for pick up at the post office and to top it all off, he doesn't even ask for ID when you pick up mail. This place is a mess, these people are disorganized and I can't stand having to deal with them.

Being new to the area and needing to get my mail held there, I was pleasantly surprised at how friendly Brian and the team were. I liked the smaller friendly atmosphere, and they went out of their way to tell me about the area, including places to eat and visit.

Brian is so Helpful & is a pleasure to deal with. The post office is always very efficient & neat.

Awful customer service. Do yourself a favor and head to the Washingtonville post office down the street.
