Worst postal service ever! Wish we had more/better options to be able to receive our mail!nPostal Clerk is lazy and often refuses to deliver packages to parcel boxes. Hours are not set for people with jobs to be able to come inside to retrieve our mail. Have to fill out a P.O. Box letter all the time and when the lazy postal clerk “loses” it she then withholds your mail. Starting to think she does it on purpose. This is why USPS is losing money-because they can’t get people’s mail into a damn box.....Can you tell I’m fed up?!?
Our carrier has damaged a package (he actually broke the contents because he folded the package in 3rds to force it into our mailbox) and he has jammed many other packages in there, to the point that I have to tug them out. He is currently refusing to deliver a package because there is snow and ice on our driveway (it is a long gravel driveway). I have seen his vehicle, it is certainly capable of driving on our driveway...UPS delivered without any issue on the first day the mail carrier refused, the school bus pulls in at the top and backs out every day, we have gone up and down in our minivan and 2 door coupe without any problem. The country roads were far worse than our driveway, and our carrier has managed those just fine. I would gladly go to the post office in Valparaiso to pick up, but the hours make that nearly impossible (nor should I have to; our carrier, Joe, is just lazy and incredibly careless).
As of 2016, new rural carrier won't deliver my packages to my farm. They claim it is because we have dogs. Any other delivery service(brown, white, yellow trucks) have no problem with my dogs.
Amazing postal service Joe is like a God!
Worst post office ever! Wish they had somebody else working there!
