My mail has not been being delivered, AGAIN!! The mail carrier told me she keeps it in her car on days she doesn’t want to drive all the way down my street in the winter. She gave me her cell number to call her. I’ve gone in the post office to report it along with multiple neibors having the same issue. Now my mail is missing again. Paperwork that has been mailed twice now from the IRS. They told me to file a complaint and send them a copy along with the carrier and supervisors name. I had to chase down her truck and ask her for a work package I didn’t receive. She had it in her truck for a week! When I attempted to email from the website, it crashes when you hit send and no one ever answers the phone or calls back. My utility bills that I left in my box in June never made it to the company’s either. Horrible management that allows this to go on.
Laziness at its finest. Our post person is too lazy to deliver mail that is held, even if it's just for two days. They leave boxes by our mailbox instead of bringing them to the porch, so thanks for the soggy boxes. If you have to go to the actual location, be prepared to stand around waiting and then treated like you are an inconvenience. Employee chats and personal phone calls are more important than their customers.
Feb. 17, 2018: I recently visited the Rochester Postal Annex on two different occasions in the past several weeks. On each occasion I was greeted promptly and pleasantly. I presented the paper slip left in my mailbox, along with my identification, and quickly received the registered mail that had been sent to me. I left with smiles and thank yous.
Delivery driver waited in front of our house for minutes, then pulled away. Shortly after, received a message indicating that a delivery was attempted and the package was taken to be picked up at the post office per the recipient's request. We were home at the time and no delivery was attempted. I then go the next day to pick it up and I was told that the carrier should have never scanned it and they probably took it out for delivery again that day. After leaving, I called the 800 number to file a complaint and was notified that the wait time was between 39 and 59 minutes!!!! Post Office SUCKS!!!!!
Watched the delivery person pull up and put the mail in the box and drive away. I was expecting a package. Amazon showed the package was delivered but USPS says a delivery attempt was made and the package is being held at USPS for pick up. Your drivers are just LAZY.
