Over the past 3 months this post office has “lost” 3 packages. I presently am awaiting delivery of a pkg that has been in NO for 5 days. USPS tracking sw tells me it has been riding around in a delivery truck and now appears to have disappeared.nLater: finally located pkg with help from carrier! Appreciate his help. Good people work for the P.O. but the system is broken.
REALLY WISH I MY MAIL DIDN'T HAVE TO GO THROUGH THE POST OFFICE. THEY GET PAID TOO MUCH TO BE SO LAZY. MY PACKAGE IS LATE BEING DELIVERED AGAIN BECAUSE SOMEONE DON'T WANT TO DO THEIR JOB PROPERLY. TWO DAYS IN A ROW THEY LIED AND MARKED MY PACKAGE UNDELIVERABLE BECAUSE THEY CLAIM THEY COULDN'T ACCESS THE LOCATION. WELL HOW WAS THE MAIL TRUCK ABLE TO PARK IN MY BLOCK ON BOTH DAYS? I RECEIVED MAIL BOTH DAYS. IT'S A SMALL PACKAGE, BARELY 5 POUNDS. SO WHAT IS THE ISSUE BESIDES INCOMPETENCE AND LAZINESS?
I had an appointment at 12:15pm today for passport services. Their website claims passport service hours are 8am-1pm monday-friday. When I arrived the woman at the window told me their “passport lady” was not in until 12:30 and that I would have to leave my name and number and I would receive a call shortly after their passport staff arrived. I tried calling the location at about 1:30 because I had never heard back and I couldn’t wait all day, but they did not pick up. I never received a call and had to book a passport appointment with another location. The impression this left me with is that the workers here are very inconsiderate of people’s time.
I would give it negative starts if I could.... I dropped off a package into the indoor drop slot and it never got entered into the system, It just disappeared. I went in to the location on the second day, the guy working the counter laughed at me and said that it was my fault. that I probably didn't put the postage on it. After looking at the other reviews I see a trend here. PLEASE DO NOT TRUST YOUR MAIL TO THESE PEOPLE. Now im out $150 I have to refund to the customer and I cannot even file a claim because it never got scanned in. THEVES if you ask me.
I ordered a package, first being delivered by UPS, (Which they were great and got to my city at a really great time) But my order got put on the post office's hands, and it was supposed to arrive yesterday. Today it's day one of delivery, and it went into the truck and 7:20 AM, It's 5:30 PM now and it's still not here. Overall, a horrible delivery system and I don't trust them with my packages.
