On Dec 30 2019 at 1:18 pm I went to this (my local) postoffice. About 10 people were waiting as there was a handwritten sign that said LunchBreak and the PO was closed. NEVER has this happened. The current 2 female workers are incompetent and rude. Rarely can either help without the assistance of the other which may be why they need to take lunch together and for the 1st time EVER close the post office. This is a very frequented post office that needs qualified workers. Sadly this is convenient but I urge the postmaster to make a change.

Some of the employees are friendly, but none of them will go out of their way to help. Convenient and easily accessible.

While most Postal Services have long waits this one is an awesome find. The staff is helpful and friendly everyday. They make going to the Post Office enjoyable. Even when there’s a line it moves!! Do your shipping here.

2/3 staff members at this branch are very kind and always willing to help. The staff member you might want to let someone pass you in line for is the female employee in the middle terminal as she tends to be rude. Also heads up that since this is sub station they do not offer all of the services of a full post office you may want to check ahead of going that can do what you need.

Good parking. This post office is conveniently located in a shopping mall on Metairie Road. Sometimes there is a line, but usually it is a quick in and out for basic postal services.
