Worst track record for deliveries ever. I've lived in the same place for 20 years, they assign us a new carrier a few months ago and the service quality plummeted. How can so many packages suddenly disappear! And for many of us on the same day!!

Had an issue with a delivery being sent to PA instead of VA. The PO called me to let me know they were doing everything in their power to have the package re-routed to our correct address.
The mail here is horrible things are always lost or late. Now my package that was supposed to be delivered last night in afton Is in Charlottesville and I can’t speak to a human being just recorded messages blaming covid!
The Afton, Virginia Post Office is horrible, I have sent in 3 requests to stop getting other persons (neighbors) mail and they still put my neighbors mail in my box. The same person that delivers from Fox Hollow Rd Afton, Va to Mountain Road must not be able to read or is not interested in her job at all. Mostly the ladies name is Jessica and she wears headphones and puts anybodies mail in any mailbox. Have even sent reports to the Post Office in Richmond, Va and they were supposed to keep an eye on them. Afton Post Office definitely needs to hire a babysitter for them because they don't know or care what goes in each mailbox. There are a lot of senior citizens in this area and they don't get their mail correctly either. PLEASE TEACH THE PEOPLE AT AFTON POST OFFICE HOW TO READ.
