I only come to this place because of a PO box. Other than THU? I don't think I've seen any other employee actually working. This woman does a million orders with grace and professionalism in the time it takes her coworker to do maybe 5. Why does this coworker bother asking for pickups and questions ONLY when the line is magnificent? 30 minutes to wait is absurd.. Why, at first opening, would only one person be working at the counter? Unfortunately, every time is the same. One worker talks, and Thu DOES. The two stars is only because thu.... she herself would get ten stars, but overall, she makes a 0 experience worth something.
If I could give this place zero stars I would. Why? After waiting for 20 minutes, I asked the clerk if he could tape the birthday card to the package ... instead of helping me, he directed me to the supply area in the back of the room. This meant I would need to purchase a new roll of tape (just so I could apply two strips on the box) AND start at the back of the line to wait for another 20 minutes. In my 30-plus years of going to the post office I’ve never had the experience where the post office was unwilling to assist with packaging tape. This wasn’t my first bad experience with this post office (once they lost my mail but the supervisor was unwilling to come to the counter). Nevertheless, it will be my last bad experience here ... I will find another way to get my stamps and mail my packages. Right now I’m headed to the UPS Store.
One of my packages was lost at this office and I received exceptional support from Annie! She followed up personally to check with the distribution person, put an alert out for the package over the weekend and then called me first thing Monday morning to make sure I knew that she had the package at the office in hand waiting for me. This is a busy location without enough staff to meet demand (there was a line even before the doors opened at 9am snaking through the building). However, it seemed those working were doing their best to move people through quickly and they were friendly. I don't envy them at the moment- USPS is going through rough times thanks to poor management and the very very top. I appreciate their work throughout these difficult circumstances.
I put in a change of address back in Oct 2020 and it’s now feb 2021 and still no mail from my old address and no one can ever tell me anything everytime I call. The worst experience ever. WHERE IS MY MAIL!?
