Would be AMAZING to call the post office and speak to a person instead of a universal automated extended bunch of mess.nMy carrier missed a package that was suppose to be delivered. Tried to call the PO in hopes they could get in touch with her to let her know she forgot a package. Took 15 minutes on an automated system just to learn what I already knew. The package is in her truck. Was suppose to promised for delivery today. Won't get it till tomorrow.nHire some people to answer phones and fire the computer!
Wondeful friendly faces and smiles, they enjoy their jobs and location where they work. Management of location is excellent, always in top form, never miss any potential problem areas. Love my local post office and their staff.
I love this USPS location! Family feel even supplies for the hikers.nWouldn't get this treatment in the city location.nI hope the never loose the Old Time Town Feelings!
Great experience at this Post Office.nI had a package that was supposed to have been delivered a few days ago. Talked with one of the Post Office employees, they told me they would track it down and let me know if they found it. At the end of the day, one of the employees dropped off the missing package at my doorstep.
Went to pick up a package on a Saturday to be told that my package was not there. I had the tracking information that stated it was. The woman was argumentative and absolutely certain the package wasn't there. Had to wait in the troutville park till Monday, spoke to another postman who said the package was there 3 days before Saturday. Not sure what that was all about. I also had a letter sent from a family member, that had hold for thru hiker written on it, that went missing and never showed up. I have a strong feeling that letter was stolen as it contained several hundred dollars in cash. I would be wary of using this post office if your a thru hiker.
