The clerks are always great. The long line and parking is horrendous. Prepare to have to wait for parking and when you go inside.
No problems with mail delivery in Waimea. Our mail lady went the extra mile, and always friendly. Would even drop the packages behind the fence for us.nnHere in Kona they dont even bother trying to deliver. Just mark it as attempted and that's it. Stand in like for 30 minutes at the post office to pick up every package or item you order.
Every time I come here Matt and another man whom I forget his name are so helpful! I just assumed all post offices were the same until I had to go somewhere else. They have gone above and beyond many times for me without me realizing. They are very kind and understanding here, like if you’re not familiar with how to mail out govt documents they will help you along the way unlike Kealakekua post office (total nightmare).
Can’t even get mail delivered in Aloha Kona some days. If it does come we’re lucky if we get before 6pm. Worst post office and mail delivery anywhere I’ve lived
Lack of employees to ensure fast service- spent 20+ Waiting in line to drop off my prepaid package to ship. On top of that another additional 10 minutes just to park because there is a line to park. Worst parking lot and location ever
