Service inside is fine but they do not answer the phone. I called and was waiting for over 12 minutes. I called later in the day and again, they did not answer.
For several years our family used the Manhattan Boulevard branch before it closed in March 2015. I'm glad the blue mailboxes are still conveniently there to mail letters and small packages with prepaid labels affixed.nnAnyhoo fast forward to November 2015 the mailman left a peach slip left inside our mailbox. The following day I went to this post office location for the very first time to pickup a package that required a signature. The man behind the counter had a pleasant demeanor which is always refreshing.nnExtra Note: They are closed and hour for lunch between 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM.
The people that work at this facility are outstanding, especially the middle-aged woman; I think that her name is Beth. I go here for all of my mailing needs. Way more reasonably-priced than UPS or Fedex. It also has a much more local feel and you feel way more like you're valued here as a customer, which is always a plus. I've heard rumors of this branch being shut down, but I sincerely hope not. I've been going here since I was a little boy, I don't want to go anywhere else. We love our post office in Point Place!!
Awful customer service. Was expecting a package that needed signed. The mail person never knocked, and when I tried to wave her down, she just looked over and took off. When I tried to inquire about the package he gave me the number of the downtown branch. And just like this one, no one ever answers the phones. I have a very time sensitive package and I don't appreciate being jerked around.
Well I'm looking for a p.o. box and have no idea what it requires .I called this post office and like all the rest below said - they truly do not answer the phone , I called yesterday at 9:45 am.nUnfortunately I would be driving from monroe michigan and it would not be an easy just run to the house if I did not have what I needed.nYou never know who is calling or what the reasoning is behind the call unless you actually answer it.nI will NOT be doing any business at this branch because customer service is key and without that - you have nothing !
