I’ve lived in several different cities and have never had any issues with packages being delivered. Since living here, I’ve had nothing but issues. Packages are late all the time. I get notifications saying packages have been delivered when they haven’t been. I went to the post office to check on “delivered” packages and have been told they’re not scanned in yet. I asked if I can pick them up while I’m there and was told no I had to wait for them to be delivered even though they were sitting right there. When they were finally delivered, they left them by the mailbox for anyone to stop and take. I live down a long lane and can’t see the mailbox from my house. I complained about it and they said they’d make sure to deliver them to the house from now on. Today I go outside and see something sitting ON my car. I walk over and it’s a package that they had delivered. My front and back doors are only a few feet away. Seriously they had to put it on my car. I realize some people don’t care about their cars but I do. I work hard for what I have and there’s no need for them to put packages where they don’t belong. If you’re too lazy to walk up to someone’s door to deliver a package then maybe you need a different job. This place is a joke!
If I could rate this post office lower I would, they have had my package for over a week now and won’t bring it to my city, they have horrible hours, and don’t answer the phone at all. Completely ridiculous they are in business.
I greatly appreciated the post office holding an envelope for me that was sent to the wrong zip code. However after driving 4 hours from Michigan and an unfriendly post office clerk. I wasn't about to tell him I tripped on a very oddly placed door stop and fell. I can't imagine I'm the only one thats ever tripped on it.
Not 5 stars because afternoon hours are only a slim 1:15 to 3:15 which is just bizarre, but I'm sure it's a funding thing or whatever. My mail is delivered from this office and I never have trouble. But if I need to go in for whatever reason it's tough because of the strange hours.
Friendly and helpful staff. Mail delivery is slower, and have not received some of my mail that I was expecting.
