the ladies behind the desk at the Owego post office have always been patient with the numerous packages I need to ship, they are always courteous and helpful.

So i am a manager of one of the businesses in owego, and bc she doesnt want to put a mask on she leaves the mail outside. Mail with personal information that could cause others to lose their jobs. She left a subpoena outside for anyone to pick it up. Your job is to deliver the mail.. not her way she doesn't work for McDonald's.

Do they not instruct mail carriers that at an apartment complex, each mailbox and each apartment is a legally separate address? Knocking on the first door is NOT the same as knocking on the door for apartment 2. So no you did NOT attempt delivery as I'm sitting on my couch next to the door waiting for the mail lady so I can sign for my package. Owego NY branch is horrible for this.nnNumerous times I've had packages on the porch for 118 Main Street. I live on McMaster St, so your staff is to incompetent to read?

They deliver your mail, but are in no rush to do it and don't follow package delivery instructions. Letters get delivered. However, after multiple delays on Amazon Prime deliveries (it took 5 business days instead of 2) and having to leave work early to go to the post office to pick them up, I asked the staff if there was a form I could submit with package delivery instructions. There was not, but they allowed me to leave a note authorizing the delivery of packages to a specified location (I authorized delivery to my main-door porch, which is in the rear of the building). My next package was left on top of my mailbox, in the front of the building by the street in plain view of any passers-by. Luckily, no one decided to get free presents, but that the post office either ignored easy instructions or was just plain lazy in their delivery is supremely frustrating--I don't think I can trust them to deliver packages.

Our mail lady is terrible. She is rude to my children even about taking outgoing mail or being in a hurry because she is late. Her being late is not our problem. Part of her job is to take outgoing mail. I signed up for informed delivery because I had a feeling we were missing mail. I was right 2 times just in the past 10 days my email indicated we would receive a piece of mail. Said envelope was not delivered. I understand not everyone likes their job all the time but this has been an ongoing thing for a very very long time and it's not appreciated.
