Cherie did an awesome job for me. And although I’ve sent stuff a certain way for a long time, she was the first postal worker who took the time to show me another way to send my boxes that will save me a lot of money in the long run. I really appreciate that she took that time and effort to tell me. And she was overall nice.
This used to be my go-to post office, but I stopped going due feeling uncomfortable around one of the workers. I felt uneasy the first few experiences I had with him, but did not read too much into them. The moment I stopped going was when this worker went out of his way to come out from behind the desk (I usually use the self-service stand) to tell me that I was beautiful. I found it a little odd, and felt uncomfortable. Thankfully, another person heard him say that to me and asked me if I was ok. They told me to be careful around him and speak up for myself next time if that happened again. According to this person, he does that to a lot of girls and women. There seems to be another review with this similar situation, if you have not read it.
The supervisor has zero clue as to how the office runs. Couldn’t find my package after they called me to come and get it. Barely gave an effort of 1-2 minutes to even locate it. It’s obvious that this location is the C or D squad. No wonder UPS and FED EX are killing USPS they both open at 7AM while these people don’t even bother showing up until 9.
I have used USPS to ship all of my packages, which now amount to over 1,800 of them, over the past 5 years. I always get decent to excellent service and have had a total of 6 packages lost (out of 1,800) in transit or stolen off of someone's porch in all this time. A lot of people love to gripe about lines, but they are just as, or more efficient, than that of UPS or FED-EX when it comes to customer service and they do a heck of a lot of work for us all.
