I frequent this small post office location on High Street in Medford often. The parking lot only has a few spaces, and is less than 500 ft from the railroad crossing - I've had a few near misses with other vehicles when trying to park there during traffic. You're better off parking at the commuter rail lot just a minute walk away.nnThere never seems to be a line here, and the post office workers behind the desk are always friendly and patient with their customers. I especially like Tess - the gal with the purple hair. She's always in a good mood and has been very helpful when shipping return items back to online retailers. There's an older gentleman who has also been helpful in my past transactions. Great little PO outpost.
I don’t know what’s happened, but the employees here were neither quick nor helpful. I had four envelopes delivered to the previous tenant that I asked them to forward along, and instead of accepting them, they gave me a really hard time about delivering it to the “correct” post office to the point where I left, wrote, “please forward” on them all and dumped them in a nearby mailbox. Maybe I shouldn’t forward people’s mail in the future.

Had to go here because the Tufts Post Office closes early during the summer. Not bad!
The parking situation is abysmal and the customer service left much to be desired. They also seem to be grossly understaffed for the volume of customers they see on a Saturday.
