US Post Office

Tried to forward some magazines to a friend, turned into a nightmare. First, they wouldn't accept a package because it had a UPS logo on it. I asked if we could just tape over it or something but they didn't like that idea. I thought that's strange, I get packages with logos all the time with no issues, but whatever I'll go get a blank envelope and come back. The next time, the lady asked me if there were any hazardous items to which I said no, just magazines. She then told me I could only send it by USPS First Class since there were advertisements (It was a solid package, no visible ads, just a manila envelope full of paper as far as USPS is concerned). That was the last straw. I ripped off the new packaging, printed a UPS label, and dropped it in one of the UPS boxes on campus, only ended up being ~$0.50 more expensive and a lot easier to deal with.

I’m a big fan of USPS in general, but this office does not have great service. I’ll leave it at that. I’d highly suggest using Uncle Marty’s Shipping Office instead!

Such a terrible service! I ordered my graduation ring, and it supposed to deliver on Mid April! And it only leave a notice on my door and I don’t know what that is. And I checked the status on last Friday, it said it is on the way to the sender. I called the USPost office client representative to confirm that it is on the way to the sender. And I got message noticed that the package is on the way back to the me because it showed in the different distribution center, and it showed yesterday it is in the ithaca. I thought it already been sent back to me. But I called the local office today, she said it already held for another week since last Friday. I am so furious since I won’t wear that in my graduation today. And the US post office client representative told a different stories of the local office. I suggest everyone choose the alternative mail service instead of this one.

The heavy woman with black hair will give you the worst attitude you could get in all over the campus :)

Extremely terrible service. Does not tell you what they want in terms of the format. Low efficiency. Please use the alternative services in Collegetown
