I've had my PO box here for 5 years and counting. I've never had any complaints about the service here. It has always been quick and friendly service for me and I visit about once a week. Convenient location and easy to get to.

The WORST service ever!!! The staff superrrrrrrrrrrr lazy and they take there time. It seems that they don't want to work. They need NEW staff ,but they need people that really like to work with people!!!!!. If not keep them in the back. HINT: Go right away when they open they seem happy for like 1hr after that you going to be there for ever and with an attitude.

Since our previous postal courier left, we never have out letters picked up and rarely have our mail where it needs to be. Today was the last straw - we literally put a table out for mail that clearly had mail on it, and our mail was chucked onto the floor carelessly and left. I will be writing to the Postal Inspection Service to report this, this conduct is not professional and not acceptable. We pay good money for our postage every month and get treated by our postal carrier like it’s above them to do their damn job.

Quick service. The staff was polite and helped me with questions that I had.

The employees at this post office (5645 S. Archer Ave) are useless. They lack professionalism. I went there with the intention of applying for a passport 20 minutes after opening. The lady said I needed an appointment (I understood that), and proceeded to tell me that I must schedule an appointment through the passport agency at the downs office. The passport agency said that was some misinformation, and I should have never been told such thing. She gave me the website to usps for an appointment scheduling (usps, didn’t tell me this) . I attempted the website about thirty times on my mobile phone, and then a laptop. Clearly, there was a glitch. I went back to the post office in an attempt to have them schedule it for me, as time is critical and my kids father and I have different work schedules. I was dismissed and given an attitude. I then, I asked, and waited for the supervisor for about 20 minutes, who mind you, they were speaking with at the end of the hall. Apparently, he (Sean Golden, Supervisor) was too important to meet with us. He never showed his face, you cannot possibly be too busy in the first hour. Are you not there to assist?!?! The employee there said they had access to set up the appointment, but that they were not allowed to do so. I asked if it was a rule for their office alone, or a universal rule? They said it was a universal rule. I left to the office on 4922 S. Kedzie, where we were greeted with a warm smile. I asked Dana for assistance in this matter. With no hesitation, she asked what day and time? And as she was setting It up I explained the situation to her, she said “oh baby, they could have done it for you.” She’s a savior, time was sensitive in this case. She showed empathy, something that would be useful at the Archer office.nnIf you want to be treated with respect, go to the one on Kedzie. I have had nothing, but problems at Sean Goldens post office (3x to be exact). Employees lack professionalism, empathy, and the simple will to earn an honest dollar. This place is garbage, no wonder they want to defund the post office!!!!nnI wish there was an option to give “no star” this place doesn’t deserve one!!
