I had an appointment for my passport application at 11:30am. When booking the appointment, they advise you to be there at least 15 minutes early. There was a guy who apparently had an 11am appointment who literally walked in right before I did at 11:20, and yet he was still provided a service. Being that his appointment had overlapped with mine, it made sense for them to work on my application alongside his. However, they did not do that. I had to wait 25 minutes for them to finish his appointment before getting to mine!nnWhile I was waiting the second lady was helping a Chinese man with his mail. She got frustrated with him and was so rude because he did not speak fluent English. The post office is smack in the middle of Chinatown so what do you expect??!! She also spoke out loud to tell the first lady that she shouldn't take anymore passport applications even though the first lady stated that she got reprimanded for turning too many people away from getting their application filled out.nnWhen I finally got called up to get my application done, I had to step to the side to fill out the information for the money order. She had me do that so she could work on application for someone else AND had me waiting again to finish. If it were that easy to work on two applications at once, then I should have had my application worked on when I initially came in on time instead of having to wait because someone else was late for their appointment.nnWorst post office experience ever!

Although I don't have her name, the older lady with glasses is always a pleasure to work with. Always sweet and welcoming. But on the other hand, the younger, shorter lady always gives me attitude. The only two occasions I dealt with her had me leaving the store just completely angry.nnThe first occasion was when the store was completely empty, only me and her. I went to drop off a package and she tells me to put it down at the desk. I wanted a receipt so I asked her for it but she told me no because I didn't wait for her to call me up. I had to wait in the nonexistent line for her to call me up just to drop off my package.nnThe second occasion was when I had to drop off another package but apparently it weighed 4lbs and 8.3oz. I previously shipped out two packages of the same exact item with a 4lb label with absolutely no issue with the older lady. But apparently, it weighed more today and I had to purchase a completely new label which I had to pay $15 for. The item that I shipped out arrived at my house in a 4lb label as well. So, I know for sure it would've never been over 4lbs.nnTerrible experience, it's like they're trying to make your life harder on purpose.

She is awesome and very helpful. she is basically running the store alone as I went there today for my passport application. People need to be a little more patient and respectful when they see someone working hard. She could use a little more help as it would definitely speed up the process.

Did not have any bad experiences at the post office.nnHowever it is always a gamble on whether I will receive expected packages. I would say 2 out of 5 times I would get pink slips, but the rest of the time I would have guess when a package was supposed to arrive, and just get it myself at the post office. Sometimes I guess right, but sometimes I would need to come back.

Seems the worker(s) are more often then not, on extended lunch break (2-3 hrs?).
